France trip, Jul 2007 - Wheat fields

Provence is an agricultural region and its sun-drenched fields are, in addition to lavender and sunflowers, also perfect for wheat.

It is not uncommon to see a field of lavender right next to a field of wheat. The colour of the lavender makes a nice contrast with the golden colour of the wheat.

the picture of the wheat field is spectacular. Where was this (location) in France?

The closest town is Banon.

But you should be able to see wheat fields everywhere in Provence.
